14/15 months

Before I had time to post for Bailey's 14 month birthday her 15 month birthday has rolled around. Where in the world has the time gone?? So Bailey what are you doing at 15 months old?

You wear a size 12-18 months
You still weigh around 20-22 lbs
You are getting taller and getting more hair
You are into EVERYTHING!
You go from the time you wake up to the time you go to sleep
You talk nonstop and you are not quite
You have decided bedtime should be around 9 or 9:30 compared to 8 or 8:30
You like wearing bows now but we have to sit you in front of the mirror and tell you how pretty you are with your bow in
Your favorite animals are pigs and dogs. You can go like both
You eat everything that we give you but Chick Fi La is your favortie (like your mommy)
You never stop smiling and you love to laugh
You are a healthy active baby girl and I thank God for you everyday and pray that you remain as happy and healthy as you have been. Your mommy and daddy love you more than anything in this world!

Football Football!!

I am over this mommy!!!
I am suffering from football overload and it is still early in the season!! Friday night, we went to the local high school football game which was very exciting. It was the two rival teams from our hometown and my high school pulled out the win in 3 overtimes!! Saturday, we went to a friend's house to watch Ohio State and then UT/ Florida with them. Later, we came home and watched UK while listening to MTSU on the laptop. During the Titans game today, I had to lay down and take a nap with Bailey..Too much for me!! We found out some GREAT news this weekend! Friends of ours have been trying to have a baby for a while and they showed us a picture when we got to their house. It was a picture of an ultrasound which made me so happy and then she said there are THREE!!! Triplets!!!! I couldn't believe it! We are so happy for them and it really couldn't happen to two better people! So.. if you are reading this blog, please take a moment and say a quick prayer for them for a healthy pregnancy and three healthy babies!! OMG- I can't wait!!! I didn't take any Bailey pictures this week but here are a few of me playing dressup with some of her new fall clothes.

New Hobby

Two posts in one day!!! That is a record for me but it's because I am so behind from last week. Sorry family, this is a post with no bailey pictures! We went to the MTSU game yesterday but I forgot my camera. Bailey did so well. She only took a 20 minute nap all day and made it all the way through the game. We didn't leave until 9. We all slept until 8:30 this morning and were late for church!! So, I have a new hobby and it is sewing! If you know me, you know this is strictly out of my comfort zone but I am having a blast. It is helping me with my patience issues. Here is my first dress. Bailey will probably only wear it one time before it tears into pieces but that's ok. It's so much fun!

Chattanooga Weekend

We decided to take a little weekend trip to Chattanooga for Labor Day. I had not been there since I was little so we thought it wouls be a great place to take Bailey. We arrived Saturday in time for lunch downtown and checked in at the hotel to watch the UK game. Sunday, we went to the Aquarium which Bailey loved! Her little finger was pointing all through the place at the fish! It's so much fun to see things through the eyes of your child. We then walked around downtown for a while, drove around to see Ruby Falls and Rock City, and then went to the hotel for a rest before dinner. After dinner, we went to the park which was beautiful. Ben said I didn't dress Bailey right for the fountains but she had to dress up for dinner ;). All in all, it was a great trip but I will say that I was a little disappointed at the lack of stuff to do. I know I am biased for Pigeon Forge but, besides going to the beach, there is nothing like it. You never run out of things to do there. If you didn't know, Ben's job is advertising Supervisor for the city of Pigeon Forge. I may just be a little bitter because I couldn't find a good mall in Chattanooga but I will take Pigeon Forge anyday over Chattanooga!!

GO MTSU RAIDERS!!!

This was us at the game last year

And now..what a difference a year makes!
Fall is here..well kind of! We went to the first football game of the season last night. Ben and I both graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and we love to support the team as alumni and new Althletic Association members. I received my Bachelors from there and Ben received his Bachelors and MBA from there. Last year, Bailey went to all the games with us and it was so easy. She was in her Baby Bjorn the whole time and sat there. Well, this year she is walking so I was a little nervous. She did great! The first time everyone jumped up and screamed she got a little upset but by the end , she was giving her Daddy high fives! She fell asleep for about 20 minutes and woke up ready to go! She didn't get in bed until 10:30 last night. She slept in a little this morning and was ready to go! Unfortunately, we lost 24-17 but it was a great game to watch! We are headed to Chattanooga this weekend for a short little family vaca, just the three of us. Can't wait!!

Lake Day!!

Ben's parents decided to rent a pontoon boat Saturday. We were excited because Bailey has never been to the lake. I am not a huge fan of the lake. I like clean swimming pool water but I am always up for spending time with the family. Bailey didn't like the life vest at first but once we got rolling in the boat, she loved it! She just watched the water for awhile. We let her get in the lake for a little bit which she liked...for a little bit :). She also got to help granddad drive the boat. She loved the fact that G brought sandwiches and she loved the Cheetos. Aunt Abigail had to laugh at our little fat girl with her hand in the Cheetos bag! All in all, it was a great day. We left the lake to go to my dad's for a cookout. Bailey ran until her little legs couldn't run anymore with my nephew Ethan. Needless to say, we all three slept great Saturday night! We are so blessed to live close to both sides of the family. I want Bailey to grow up knowing how important family is. Lake pics to come soon!

These Boots Are Made For Walking

Here are a few of the outdoor shots from alicia booker. The outfit was my idea. I wanted to do something unique and fun and I think we captured that.. My sweet girl was so good throughout the shoot. She really loves the camera. It's funny to watch her work the camera.. She is already a little model

Photo Shoot Session 2

Alicia had a great idea for our second set of pics. She wanted to put Bailey in the middle of our bed surrounded by her toys... I love the classic smocked bishop dress. It just makes a sweet picture. The dress came from Children's Shoe Company in Murfreesboro. These dresses are the best because Bailey will be able to wear it for at least two seasons. Pair a white top under it and it is perfect for Fall also!

Photoshoot- Session 1

As mentioned in my previous post, we had Bailey's 1 year photo session this weekend. Alicia Booker did the photos and I am telling you. I am completely blown away!!! Her husband Andrew and her work together and they are great! They took 3 hours of photos and Bailey loved every minute of it! This is the first of 5 outfit changes that we did. I can't wait to show more!

Weekend in a Nutshell

We had a pretty low key weekend. Friday, Bailey's "G' kept her while I got my hair done and surprised us by letting Ben and I go on a date while she kept Bailey!! Dates are few and far between these days and it is always great to get out and just be husband and wife together. We chose our favorite local place in Murfreesboro, Maple Street Grill. I have never eaten anything there that was not incredible! While we were out, G decided to keep Bailey all night so we enjoyed a good night's rest. We went to pick her up Saturday morning and waked into a livingroom full of new toys! I got Bailey home after a few stops and tried to get her to take a nap because we had our 1 year photoshoot with Alicia Booker. Well, a nap didn't happen and I was worried about the shoot. Alicia and her husband, Andrew did a 3 and 1/2 hour photoshoot with my girl and she was the perfect model the whole time. I can't wait to post pictures from the session. I can't wait to see her pictures with pearls surrounded by her Tiffany&Co bags. They took over 1,000 pictures and their ideals were great! For now, time to go celebrate Ben's sister's birthday at Bricktops in Nashville!! Oh and here are a few Bailey pics to satisfy ya!

Day at the fair!!!

Bailey meeting the piggys
The piggy meeting Bailey
Petting the horse
Bailey always takes time to smile for the camera
Talking it over with Daddy

The clouds
The aftermath

We took Bailey to her first fair Saturday night and it was well.....eventful!! We got there around 5 and made our way to the petting zoo. My brother and nephew went with us. Ethan is 7 and was so excited for a night at the fair. We got to see rabbits, turkies, and chickens and, while in that tent, the rain started. It only lasted for about 10 minutes and Ethan was wanting to see the pigs so we made our way to that tent. bailey loved the animals and the pigs especially liked her! She was running through the pen doing her pig snort. It was so cute! Ethan wanted to ride some rides so we went to that area and as soon as Ben and Ethan got on a ride, the bottom fell out of the sky! It stormed so bad. We got under a concession stand to avoid the rain, which it did not. There came a point where we were already soaked so we decided just to go to the car. We couldn't get any wetter than we already were! The way there I talked how Ben always parks to leave a place, not to go to a place. He parks close to the road so he can get out. Tim and Ethan loved hearing me fuss all the way back about how wonderful it was that we were parked near the road!! We were miserable but laughed the whole way. We will always remember Bailey's first fair!
